Hailey is excited to be a part of the premiere of Would You Eat Me? This absurd comedy by Joshua Brown, follows the protagonist K. as she digs her way out of a depressive episode by attempting to cook something from one of her celebrity chef mother's videos. While it doesn't exactly turn out the way she hopes, she does learn something important along the way-- and it's not about baking.
The production is led by company Executive & Artistic Director Claire DiVizio, conductor Jennifer Huang and choreographer Natalie Elizabeth (both company debuts), supported by an exceptional technical and artistic staff. Hailey will be making her company debut singing the role of K.
Future Perfect is a chamber opera by librettist Christine Steyer and composer David Shenton. It is directed by Nick Sandys, a Jeff Award-nominated director, actor and educator. Future Perfect is drawn from five years of workshops with 1,300 local youths examining themes of separateness, interconnectedness and transcendence from a variety of lenses. Hailey will be playing the role of Ember and covering the role of Asintmah in this production.
Hailey will be covering the roles of the Third Lady and Third Spirit in Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
Hailey will be covering the role of Kate and singing in the Ensemble of the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company’s production of Pirates of Penzance.
Prepare to be transported to 1920’s Berlin in this exploration of German Kabarett repertoire. Songs by Hollaender, Spolianksy, and Weill tell the story of an era of political turbulence, societal unrest, and artistic awakening. The fresh urbanziation of Berlin can be heard in Weill’s “Berlin im Licht.” The struggle for feminine identity and security in the newly cosmopolitan Berlin can be heard in songs like Weill’s “Nana’s Lied” and Hollaender’s “I am a Vamp.” This performance was originally slated for April 2020, and its revival is happening this February 26th at 8 PM.

CAIC is pleased to welcome Dr. LYNN EUSTIS, internationally acclaimed soprano, teacher, and author, as its featured guest clinician for the 2021-2022 season.
Over the course of the season, Dr. Eustis will preside over three individual singers’ retreats, comprised of book discussions, individual voice lessons, and public master classes. Participants will include a cohort of fifteen young artists and professionals
Hailey will be singing in the November 14 masterclass.
CAIC Artistic Director, tenor Nicholas Phan, leads the 2021 Collaborative Works Festival Master Class on repertoire exploring themes of immigration and migration, and/or works by poets and composers who migrated or immigrated during their lifetimes. Hailey participated in the masterclass on October 6. The live stream of the class will be uploaded and available October 29-November 4 on https://www.caichicago.org.
Hailey will be singing the role of Hänsel in Vienna Summer Music Festival’s production of Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel.
